Template:DFDb title/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Description

[edit]

{{DFDb title}} is a template used to generate an external link to an entry for a work (film/movie, TV or Web program/series, video game, etc.) in the Danish Film Database. In an article, it should only be used in the "External links" section.

For a person, use {{DFDb name}}.
For a company, use {{DFDb company}}.

Usage

[edit]

The required parameter is the ID string. The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:

* {{DFDb title|ID}}

To have the link text be other than the article name, use the second parameter:

* {{DFDb title|ID|Name}}

This is necessary when adding a Danish Film Database link to an article about somebody or something other than the linked work (for example, if you include the Danish Film Database link for Dogville on a talk page, you must specify Dogville as the second parameter).
