Acetabularia calyculus

[edit]
  • ... that the thallus of the umbrella alga, which grows up to 7 centimetres (2.8 in) tall, consists of a single large cell?

Created/expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nom at 05:37, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

  • size and age ok. Hook reffed. Good to go. The other idea for a hook was about the mercury, so:
ALT1... that Acetabularia calyculus can remove mercury from sea water and concentrate the metal in its tissues in the form of polypeptides?
I'll leave it up to someone else to decide the most interesting hook (both are cited) when it is uploaded. Casliber (talk · contribs) 09:13, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
