- The 5x expansion checks out and the hook fact is verified. The nomination is timely and there are no copyright issues or other problems. I guess it could be more simply put as the following but I still approve ALT0:
- ALT1: ... that the Philippines's government made a plan to improve itself?

- Sure, looks better.

11:26, 19 September 2024 (UTC)- The hook is bog-standard: long term plans/visions are a dime a dozen in politics. I don't find it "unusual or intriguing" in the slightest. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 11:17, 25 September 2024 (UTC)

- @MaranoFan: I actually like your proposal for ALT1, but there is apparently some opposition to it. I don't really see any other potential hooks at this time, and I also question why the topic is even separate from the parent article on National Economic and Development Authority, which is quite short. - Given the nominator's topic ban, issues with the hook, and notability concerns, I've gone ahead and closed this as unsuccessful. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 02:29, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
