Overall: New enough, long enough, neutral and well-sourced. Hook interesting, but I have one question: how do you know that the facade which existed until 1815 was the original one from c. 600 AD? This source clearly mentions the reconstruction of the facade which took place in 1815–1819, but it also mentions renovations in the 11th century and modifications in 1570 and 1782. I find it quite unlikely that an early medieval facade remained untouched for over a millennium, but if this was really the case it would need a source. Once a source is added (or a new hook is proposed) the article would be good to go. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 11:34, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Xwejnusgozo: I don't think the hook suggests that it was unchanged, only that it had remained, in some form, from the original. (The source doesn't indicate how much/whether it had changed, only that it had not been completely replaced). In any event, I've added an alternative hook. Ergo Sum 14:19, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Ergo Sum: OK, looks good to go now. I dropped the word "completely" from the hook ALT1 to shorten it slightly (the hook still indicates that the facade was demolished and a new one built instead). Well done! Xwejnusgozo (talk) 15:56, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this. Please provide an inline cite after this sentence verifying one of the hook facts:
From 1815 to 1819, the original facade was replaced by the current neoclassical facade, designed by Giuseppe Del Rosso.
