Bing Slamet
[edit]- ... that Bing Slamet, named after Bing Crosby, was a Crybaby Cowboy and Pedicab Driver?
- ALT1:... that when Bing Slamet died, the funeral procession was 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) long?
- ALT2:... that Bing Slamet started a trend of using actors' names in the titles of films?
- ALT3:... that one of Bing Slamet's best received songs was blocked from play for its communist connotations?

- For original hook, ALT1, and ALT2. Dates and lengths both good and online translation tools are good enough to allow verification of facts for these three hooks. Unable to confirm ALT3, which I think refers to the song "Gendjer-Gendjer", as confirming sources are offline and it is far from clear that being "deliberately ignored during Suharto's New Order regime" is the same as being "blocked from play for its communist connotations". --Allen3 talk 16:23, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
