  • ... that Carmen Thomas (pictured) was counted by Forbes among the 100 most influential women in Germany for running Hallo Ü-Wagen, a weekly live radio program with discussions and audience participation from 1974 to 1994? Source: [1]

  • Comment: Hallo Ü-Wagen (Hello Radio Van) will get an article. Best on her birthday, 7 May.

Created by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 20:55, 6 April 2019 (UTC).

  • The article was nominated seven days after creation, so it counts as new. It is long enough. The problem is that there are a couple of paragraphs with no citations. The hook is interesting but too long. As it stands now, the nomination does not satisfy DYK criteria. Surtsicna (talk) 12:44, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Sorry, I forget that I had planned to improve referencing. I duplicated the refs to more facts they support, and added a few more. Please check again. Shorter:
ALT1: ... that Carmen Thomas (pictured) was counted by Forbes among the 100 most influential women in Germany for running Hallo Ü-Wagen, a weekly traveling talk radio with audience participation from 1974?
Yes, she ran it to 1994, but Forbes couldn't know that in 1990, sorry about that as well. I hope I won't forget to write the show's article until this appears. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:52, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Everything is okay now. The sources check out, the hook is interesting, concise, and properly referenced, and the image is free. If you could create the article about the show, perhaps this could be turned into a double hook. Surtsicna (talk) 22:36, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. I'd turn it into a link but don't believe in double hooks ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:27, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
Surtsicna, can you please move this to special occasions, below? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:54, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
I suppose I can. I have never done it before. Surtsicna (talk) 21:40, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
You just move it on the approved page from where it is to a new four-level section down there, im chronological order. I would do it myself but have been requested not to. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:56, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
It's done :) Surtsicna (talk) 22:30, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
