Charles Singleton (songwriter)
[edit]- ... that Charles Singleton (pictured) wrote the lyrics for "Strangers in the Night", a song Frank Sinatra initially called "a piece of shit"?

- Good to go. Long enough and new enough with adequate referencing. Didn't find any copyvios. Photo in the article appears to be properly licensed. Hook is within guidelines. First part of the hook sourced to reference #1 but have to AGF on the 2nd hald as most of reference #3 is behind a pay wall. Rlendog (talk) 21:16, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review (anyone with HighBeam access will be able to check out ref 3). I've added a crop of the article picture. BTW in case there are any concerns about having the word "shit" on the main page. I've found 5 hooks from the DYK archive that use this word: Feb 2011, Mar 2012, Jun 2011, Apr 2009 and May 2009. —Bruce1eetalk 08:05, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
