- Comment it's misleading to describe the Soviet Union team as "Russians". Also, some of the hooks read as POV, eg "the best thing that could have happened". buidhe 21:58, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- I thought extensively about the wording Russian vs Soviet. I am well aware of the nuances. I chose to use the same wording the sources since they are derived from direct quotes. I feel that changing the word in a direct quote is worse than wikilinking to the Soviet team. The hooks are based on direct quotes. I have added quotation marks to make this more clear. Quotations can have inherent POV. Altering a quotation to remove POV would itself be bias. Flibirigit (talk) 04:11, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

- This article is new enough and long enough. The facts from the various hooks are cited inline, any of them could be used but I favour ALT2. The image is in the public domain, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:22, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
