Feng Yidai

[edit]
  • ... that Chinese translator Feng Yidai's romance with actress Huang Zongying has been described as "legendary in the Chinese literary circle"?

  • While reviewing the article I found lots of new material and expanded the article. As a contributor I'm no longer eligible to be a reviewer. New reviewer needed. -Zanhe (talk) 00:54, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
Length, history and reference verified. Much prefer ALT1. Daniel Case (talk) 05:11, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Daniel Case, the review does not cover neutrality, article sourcing, copyvio/close paraphrasing, etc. Please be sure that your reviews cover all of the DYK criteria, not just the three listed above. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:30, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
@BlueMoonset: Copyvio check turns out alright. QPQ done. Sources seem alright, at least by the standards of Chinese-language sources.

However, since I had to edit one sentence to make the article more neutral, I don't think I'm eligible to make the final check mark anymore. Someone else will probably have to come along and take care of that. Daniel Case (talk) 05:09, 25 March 2018 (UTC)

@Daniel Case: Thanks for your review, and I don't think you need to recuse yourself for editing one sentence. I've often edited articles for grammar, neutrality, referencing, etc. as part of the review process. What do you think, @BlueMoonset:? -Zanhe (talk) 03:00, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
Zanhe, unless Daniel Case is unsure whether his edits have made the language sufficiently neutral and would like someone to confirm the current state of neutrality, then I don't think he is ineligible to apply a tick to the nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:27, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
@BlueMoonset and Zanhe: OK, we are now ready to go. Daniel Case (talk) 18:22, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
