Hans Heinrich XV
[edit]- ... that Hans Heinrich XV (pictured) was one of the wealthiest magnates at the time in Europe and his extravagant lifestyle coupled with political and family scandals were tasty morsels for the international press?

- The article creation date and length are OK. The image is free and used in the article. These are the good news :-) Now let`s see the problems: the article has very few inline references, one among them (polish wikipedia) is not allowed by Wikipedia policy (Wikipedia is NOT a source for our articles), and the hook is not referenced in the text. Moreover, the article has no sources, and some work on the language would be also welcome. You did not do any QPQ (how many DYK do you have until now?) and, last but not least, the nomination has been placed at the wrong date. So, if you want that this article, whose subject I find very interesting indeed, passes the DYK review, you should still work on it. Alex2006 (talk) 18:09, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
- User appears to have one previous DKY, so he gets a bye. Assuming the removal of the one wiki-ref, that leaves six refs for a seven-para article, which isn't out of line. Maury Markowitz (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 12:12, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
- At the moment, while some sourcing has been added, all of the inline source citations are bare urls, which is not allowed at DYK. The references will need to be formatted with information as to title, date accessed, etc. I disagree with Maury that the referencing is adequate: the entire three-paragraph section on "Prince of Pless (Pszczyna)" has no sourcing, which is most definitely out of line, and I would also expect a citation for the final paragraph of the previous section, the one that ends with the mention of then-U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. Once the sourcing has been addressed, I can call for a new reviewer. As Maury noted, no QPQ is required. I have moved this template to the correct date on the nominations page (August 27, the date the article was created), not that it should be an issue with this review.
