A few of the links showed some similarities, but I fixed them. The rest of the links contained similarities that were unavoidable--12george1 (talk) 23:26, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
With that in consideration, I think this is good to go now. epicgenius (talk) 00:04, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I'm having trouble figuring out the article history. On June 19, eight days before this nomination, the article was not 5x smaller than it was on June 27. And I don't see a move to mainspace, or a GA icon. Please explain. Yoninah (talk) 23:27, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Thanks! It was right on the first page of the history, but I missed it. You do have some close paraphrasing from a source; try to use different words than "clashed" and "found refuge":
  • Source: The Seminoles clashed with American settlers over land and escaped slaves who found refuge among the Seminoles.
  • Article: American settlers and Seminoles clashed due to land and escaped slaves, who found refuge among the Seminoles.

  • I did this a few days ago but forgot to inform you until now--12george1 (talk) 04:49, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Thanks. Restoring tick per epicgenius' review. Yoninah (talk) 12:57, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Maybe if ALT2 was written a bit more "jazzy" it would work. Otherwise it's common knowledge. Yoninah (talk) 14:05, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
@Yoninah and 12george1: How about this? epicgenius (talk) 16:09, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT2a: ... that West Palm Beach, Florida, was the site of the 2000 U.S. presidential election voter recount, which led to the Bush v. Gore decision certifying George W. Bush as the victor?
    • I can approve ALT2a if the nominator is fine with the hook. SL93 (talk) 17:49, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
      • Go ahead and use that hook--12george1 (talk) 17:22, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
        • OK. ALT2a is cited and approved. SL93 (talk) 17:26, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
