- ... that the earliest head coaches of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team include John C. B. Pendleton (pictured), Henry Van Hoevenberg, Alfred Ellet Hitchner and Arthur P. Robinson, all four combining for a record of 12–33?

- This is not a full review, just a quick one. The hook is too long (more than 200 characters), this should be under 200 characters per Wikipedia:Did you know#hookformat. Zia Khan 13:03, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- This is a four-part multiple hook. Those aren't strictly limited to 200. At 230 for four, I thought this was somewhat concise. Cbl62 (talk) 15:29, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- The hook length is fine, per WP:DYKSG#C3. Even without applying that rule, DYKcheck reports it as 216 characters, because the ellipsis and (pictured) aren't counted. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 00:52, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

- These four articles were all started around November 26th and are long enough. The image is in the public domain. The hook statement has a suitable reference for each coach and adding them up, I agree with Cbl62's total. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:24, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
