  • Article is new enough and long enough. Some sources are bare urls, which need to be fixed per DYK supplemental rules before this could be promoted. Also, there is an AfD pending, but it looks like it's going to be kept. Will take another look once the bare urls are fixed and the AfD is closed. Cbl62 (talk) 05:24, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
  • As expected, the AfD closed as keep. The url issue still needs to be fixed. Cbl62 (talk) 14:04, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Still an issue on this hook. The article does not directly support the precise hook. It actually doesn't even refer explicitly to the Institute for Scientific Information. Also, it doesn't say that Bollen has been recognized as "one of the most highly cited scholars." I suggest an alt that more closely tracks both the article and the source.
alt 1 ... that sociologist Kenneth A. Bollen has been listed in the ISI Highly Cited database of "highly cited researchers", in the Social Sciences category? Cbl62 (talk) 02:07, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Since I'm now proposing an alt, someone else will need to do a second review. Cbl62 (talk) 02:07, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
I had a go at this and wasn't happy with using a CV as a ref so I have changed it to a biography - subtle difference. I think the original hook is ok especially if it is changed to "... highly cited Social Science scholars?" Victuallers (talk) 21:06, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
