- Hi, I came by to promote this, but have two questions. He enlisted in September 1943 and played the no-hitter in May 1946. Isn't that 2 1/2 years? Also, he played baseball in the Army. - Yoninah thank you for pointing that out. I made the changes, except it was actually Negro league baseball, not MLB.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 22:24, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
