Loom (band)

[edit]
  • ... that Tarik Badwan, the vocalist of LOOM, has been called "the angriest man to stalk a stage in ages and the owner of the best death stare London"?
  • ... that Tarik Badwan, the vocalist of LOOM, has been called "the angriest man to stalk a stage in ages"?
    • (Strikeout of original hook not by nominator, but by me as a reviewer, for the problem noted in my comment further below. —Lowellian (reply) 15:21, 18 August 2015 (UTC))

Moved to mainspace by Sovereign Sentinel (talk). Self-nominated at 17:02, 14 August 2015 (UTC).

  • Article moved to mainspace on August 14. Hook is referenced, short, and interesting enough. QPQ done. This is good to go! -- Frankie talk 09:59, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
  • "The owner of the best death stare London" doesn't make grammatical sense; it's missing the word "in". This is a direct quote, with the same grammatical error in the source. As this is a direct quote, the correction must be in square brackets, which is okay for the original article but not the most attractive feature for a DYK hook ("the owner of the best death stare [sic: in] London"), so I suggest simply shortening the hook to just the first half of the quote ("the angriest man to stalk a stage in ages"), which is already plenty interesting enough on its own. I've accordingly stricken out the original hook above. —Lowellian (reply) 15:21, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
