Lucy Heartfilia

[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Flowerpiep (talk). Self-nominated at 02:03, 10 May 2018 (UTC).

  • Nominated same day as GA approval. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close referencing seen in online sources. Images are fair use and freely licensed. No QPQ needed for nominator with less than 5 DYK credits.
  • Regarding the hook, it has some unwanted repetition (Fairy Tail...Fairy Tail) and is also a bit obscure, as people may not know that Fairy Tail is about a team. Would you like to suggest a different hook, such as Mashima's identification with the character, or the connection with the Beatles song, or another hooky fact? • Thank you for the alts. I think ALT1 is the hookiest, though I would move up the target article and not add so many extraneous links, including to the author's name (readers can read the article):
  • ALT1a: ... that Lucy Heartfilia, the main female protagonist of the Fairy Tail manga and anime series, was named after the Beatles' song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"?
  • Offline ALT1a hook ref AGF and cited inline. ALT1a good to go. Yoninah (talk) 16:38, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
