Narrow-headed vole

[edit]
  • ... that the slender head of the narrow-headed vole may have evolved to allow it to move more easily through crevices in frozen ground?

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nominated at 06:32, 5 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Expansion is from 188 B (32 words) readable prose size to 2172 B (353 words), easily 5x. Article expansion dates okay, filing date okay, article size itself okay. Article is sourced and written in neutral fashion. Hook fact is verified, hook length at 135 characters is okay, hook interest is good enough. QPQ was done. No copyvio issues that I can see (these species articles often have to paraphrase fairly close to sources because there are only limited ways of saying some things). Good to go. It would be nice to know what species this vole is prey to, but that isn't a requirement for DYK. Also one of the sources says it's a crop pest, that might be worth including.
