Shukriu (2008): "The preurban Dardanian stage faith is characterized by the prevalence of sun cult, spread in north Illyrians, and snake cult, prevalent in south Illyrians. The heliolatry faith used to take a special place (solar artifacts in tombs of Shirokë, the fowl in Llashtica tomb, double-edged axes from Romajë tomb), as well as in Roman period."
