Samba Yonga
[edit]- ... that Samba Yonga chose a career in journalism after she won a short story prize as a child? She has been interested in writing from an early age. After winning an award for writing a short story, she decided that journalism is the path that she wanted to pursue.
- ALT1:... that Samba Yonga named Ku-Atenga Media after the word for "to create" in the Luvale language? Ku-Atenga, in Samba’s native language, Luvale, means ‘to create.’
- ALT2:... that Zambian writer Samba Yonga chose a career in journalism after she won a short story prize as a child?

- Good hook on ALT0 though I'd add "Zambian writer" to the start of it. Article is new and has sources, QPQ done. Article could use a little more basic info in the lede and infobox, like date and location of birth. Morganfitzp (talk) 14:09, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Morganfitzp, thanks for your review. If I had that information I would add it. I could not locate these details in any available sources - Dumelow (talk) 17:45, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- Added ALT2. Perhaps add a few more things to the lede/body? Like her co-founding of Zambia's Museum of Women's History[1] or the two colleges she attended[2]. Morganfitzp (talk) 21:05, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
- Looks good! I look forward to it growing even more in the future! Morganfitzp (talk) 01:31, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
