- All right, I have modified it, although it is less informative now:
- ALT1: ... that Bulgaria's Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) protects the last remaining temperate forests with evergreen laurel undergrowth in Europe, as well as local traditions, such as Nestinarstvo?
- A DYK hook is not meant to be informative; it's meant to "hook" the reader into clicking on the article. Perhaps there's something more "hooky" in the article? Yoninah (talk) 01:46, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

- ALT2: ... that Bulgaria's Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) has the largest variety of habitats among all protected areas in Europe — over 130?
- ALT2a: ... that Bulgaria's Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) has over 130 habitats – the largest variety among all protected areas in Europe? Yoninah (talk) 19:41, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
- ALT3: ... that spanning a territory of 1,161 km², Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) is the largest protected area in Bulgaria, covering over 1% of the nation's territory? Gligan (talk) 15:53, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
