- ALT1 ... that Teofila Ludwika Zasławska (pictured) of the Ostrogski family was the heiress to one of the largest estates in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, including over 1,000 settlements? Poeticbent talk 21:10, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- interesting article, well sourced, Polish and offline sources accepted AGF. What do you think of an alternative that would interest me more:
- ALT2 ... that Teofila Ludwika Zasławska (pictured) and her second husband owned palaces designed by the royal architect Tylman van Gameren in Lublin, Warsaw, Lubartów and Baranów? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:55, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- I like your ALT2 most. Thanks, Gerda Arendt. Poeticbent talk 01:15, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- author and reviewer like ALT2 best, the source is in Polish, to be double sure someone with knowledge of Polish may want to look at it, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:00, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

- Online translations of the two cited sources for the hook sentence partly support the hook fact for ALT2, but it should clarify that the palaces were "designed or redesigned" by this architect -- not all were designed by him. A greater concern is that the two sources document only two palaces (the sources are about the two specific palaces). I could support alternate wording, but it falls flat:
- ALT3 ... that Teofila Ludwika Zasławska (pictured) and her second husband owned palaces designed or redesigned by the royal architect Tylman van Gameren?
- ALT1 is good (but I reworded it slightly for more idiomatic English). Also, note that I edited the article to clarify some details on castle ownership and inheritance, but my edits don't affect the hook. --Orlady (talk) 14:58, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your efforts, ALT3 is fine but a bit general, can we name the two locations? I would also like to hear the author, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:32, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

- The reference from TNN in English by Gawarecki (note #2) confirms that Tylman originally designed several of Lubomirskis palaces: notably in Lublin, Lubartów, and Warsaw (the Sandomierz Palace) and although the castle in Baranów was already standing, Tylman rebuit it for them as a palace which served as Zasławska's principal residence for the rest of her life (a notable fact). It is now a class zero monument in Poland's cultural registry. But can we link it in the hook somehow? Poeticbent talk 17:17, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Try it, poet ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:45, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- How about this:
- ALT4 ... that Teofila Ludwika Zasławska (pictured) and her second husband owned Baranów Sandomierski Castle and three other palaces designed by royal architect Tylman van Gameren? --Orlady (talk) 21:05, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, Orlady. Works for me, and thank you both for your invaluable insight. Poeticbent talk 21:50, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- ALT4 as the one we all agree on, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:58, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
