Yellala Falls

[edit]

The Yellala Falls from the left bank, circa 1880

  • ... that the Yellala Falls (pictured) are a series of rapids and waterfalls that make the Congo River unnavigable upstream from Matadi?
  • ALT1: ... that the Yellala Falls (pictured) on the Congo River were reached in 1485 by Portuguese explorers whose engraved stone commemorating their visit was only discovered in 1911?
  • ALT2: ... that about 1,250,000 cubic feet (35,000 m3) of water flows over the Yellala Falls (pictured) on the Congo River each second?

  • Length and date of creation are satisfactory. Sources look authoritative and all 3 hooks appears to be supported. (I tweaked ALT1 and ALT2.) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:31, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
