If the parameter alt_talk is set to an empty value as in {{User Alternate Acc|Username|alt_talk=}}
, the banner will automatically provide a link to the talk page of the user page it is on (i.e. that of the alternative account), instead of the default link to the talk page of the primary account. Other values may be set if desired, per the example.
