3-letter alias

I would suggest a three-letter alias/redirect be added to this template, similar to {{Country data Italy}} being provided with ITA. Some articles like this one use table contains flags with the corresponding three letter country codes. This template however does provide that function and currently such an article cannot link to the correct country the flag actual denotes. T v x1 15:26, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
