Strikingly similar template
[edit]I just ran into {{Infobox National basketball team}} when I went to Lithuania national basketball team. It's strikingly similar to this template. However, it is missing a few things this one has. Should I recommend a merge to here? That template is only used on one article. Rolando 04:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Done and done. That template was always a bit too big, and this one is a better, so I changed the template on the Lithuanian page, and redirected the template here. Andrius 18:03, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Added documentation subpage
[edit]I added a documentation subpage at Template:Infobox national basketball team/doc. Please add anything I've missed! Rolando 15:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
logo parameter
[edit]I found that logo parameter is not use at all, so what is the functions of logo parameter, can somebody explain? It is impossible to work, i will work with new one. --Aleenf1 14:53, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Rebuild done, satisfied? --Aleenf1 15:04, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- The logo is in extensive use (see, e.g. American, Argentinian, French, Venezuelan, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian teams). The flag should only show if the logo is not passed. Can you hide the flag if the logo parameter is passed? This is how it was working before introduction of the {{Flagicon}} template. Rolando 21:18, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- I believe I have fixed it. Please let me know. Rolando 21:22, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well done! Cheers! --Aleenf1 00:07, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Arabic interwiki
[edit]Something called User:AkhtaBot added an Arabic interwiki, which was subsequently removed by an editor. My knowledge of Arabic is limited (!), but the template looks fine in that language--at the very least, the template exists and seems to resemble a national team infobox like this (English) one. If you plan to remove interwikis, please advise why. Rolando (talk) 03:59, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Irish flag
[edit]There is a problem with the flag that is added in the Ireland national basketball team infobox. The current one shows the irish tricolour which is incorrect as the Ireland national basketball team represents the whole of Ireland which is 2 separate states and that insinuates that the irish tricolour is the flag of the whole of Ireland which it is not as Northern Ireland does not use the tricolour. What should be in there, is either both the Ulster Banner/Union Flag (for Northern Ireland) and the tricolour together or none at all. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 20:04, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
"First international", "Biggest win", "Biggest defeat" sections needs rework
[edit]Dear Wikipedians,
I was unable to successfully add these sections. The main intention of it was to make it look like the football one, however now it looks kind of distorted (many data doesn't fit in the single lines). The main problem is that these sections aren't made as headers. Making these sections like the "Olympic Games", "FIBA World Cup", "FIBA EuroBasket" would fix this problem immediately (I tried doing it by myself but for some unknown reason the 2/3 of data would not be shown). Could anyone more experienced in these templates business rework it? Example page with these three games written can be found at Lithuania national basketball team.

Logo caption
[edit]Would anyone please be able to create this line in? --Kasper2006 (talk) 08:23, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Trackinfo: maybe you are able to do it? --Kasper2006 (talk) 07:39, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Incredibly, this infobox is missing, which should instead be the type infobox for each national team (with the possibility of adding the medaltemplates summary), which instead is present in many other Wikipedias such as this French one. I ask, please, if it can be created. --Kasper2006 (talk) 00:22, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
