Appearance
A fossil shell of the hildoceratid ammonoid Hildoceras sublevisoni. The shell dates back to the Toarcian age (174.1–182.7 million years ago) of the Early Jurassic epoch and is about 11 cm in diameter. It was collected near Aselfingen, Germany.
