Rashmi Singh is an Indian author, columnist, blogger, and personality development trainer, best known for her novel Love's Journey.[1]
Biography
[edit]Singh was born in Patna[2], Bihar, India and is the first woman novelist to write in English from the state of Bihar[3][4] [5]/ where she attended the primary and secondary schools of Notre Dame Academy, Patna and the Loreto Convent. After receiving her Certificate of Secondary Education, Singh attended the Patna Women's College,Patna University, where she received a degree in political science. Singh would later receive a C.T.E. and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Masters from Vinoba Bhave University.[6][7]
Singh[8] married shortly after graduating from college and had two children.[7][9] In 2011 she published her first work, Love's Journey[10], which received mixed reaction from critics.[11]
Singh[12] has been also writing columns on social issues.[13][14]
Rashmi Singh has been vociferous on the Delhi Gang Rape 2012 issue and has written for social cause[15][16][17]
