A series of exercises have been devised for hands-on teaching of new editors. By going through the required reading and doing the exercises, a new editor would become familiar with the basics of editing in Wikipedia and hopefully go on to become meaningful contributors to Wikipedia.

The exercises are as follows :

• Ex 1 - Adding material to an article.
• Ex 2 - Developing an article.
• Ex 3 - Create and develop a new article.
• Ex 4 - Adding images.
