Sinoptic Music was a British independent record label. It was formed in 2002 and became an official label in 2006 with the release of Bread in Bradford by ExP.[1]

History

Sinoptic Music was founded by Ben "ExP" Goodwin and Ste "Agent" Ling in 2002, it became an official record label with their first physical release in 2006. The label officially closed on the 12th of December 2012 with their final release "Working Classics" by label artist JND. The label was home to many influence UK Hip Hop artists including Lunar C and international producer DJ Hellblazer. DJ Hellblazer went on to run Sinoptic Global.[2]

Whilst Sinoptic Music was operating it released a series of free EPs called "We Don't Do S**T Hip-Hop" with the intention of promoting the labels artists. The series came out every two months up until the penultimate issue before eventually finishing with volume ten.[3]Each release would show case the labels rosters with either songs or instrumentals.
