• Is the content added relevant to the topic?
  • For the lead, nothing has been edited or added, from BeeRosie's sandbox page I can only see the addition or edits of a few citations to other sections within the article
• Is the content added up-to-date?
  • For the lead, since nothing has been edited I can not review the work done
• Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong?
  • Again, with no tracking of any edited or added information in the lead of the assigned article its hard to give feedback. But what could be helpful is finding supporting evidence for the statements made in the lead itself. Many areas of the lead state "facts" but have no citation or supporting evidence to give substance to these claims. For example:
    • • "These mainly consist of votive sculptures and more recently, petroglyphs, which were rediscovered. [Where is the evidence here??] This early period was followed by the art styles of various Korean kingdoms and dynasties. Korean artists sometimes modified Chinese traditions with a native preference for simple elegance, spontaneity, and an appreciation for purity of nature.[Evidence?? Also if you edit this statement with evidence you find it could be a more concise lead] The Goryeo Dynasty (918–1392) was one of the most prolific periods for a wide range of disciplines, especially pottery. [Needs source support] The Korean art market is concentrated in the Insadong district of Seoul where over 50 small galleries exhibit and occasional fine arts auctions. Galleries are cooperatively run, small and often with curated and finely designed exhibits. In every town there are smaller regional galleries, with local artists showing in traditional and contemporary media. Art galleries usually have a mix of media. Attempts at bringing Western conceptual art into the foreground have usually had their best success outside of Korea in New York, San Francisco, London and Paris."[Supporting evidence???]

Tone and Balance

Guiding questions:

• Is the content added neutral?
• Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
• Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
• Does the content added attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another?
• the content added is only source citations and edits so I can not judge the tone and balance of the user's content. However I think that BeeRosie can edit the tone of some sections of her Korean Art article to sound more fact based and less opinion based. For instance in the Baekjae Section: "Baekje (or Paekche) is considered the kingdom with the greatest art among the three states." This sounds more opinion based and there is no supporting citation.

Guiding questions:

• Is all new content backed up by a reliable secondary source of information?
  • I feel like this section is where BeeRosie has done well. She has added good source material and integrated it properly into the article.
• Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic?
  • The sources reflect available literature on the topic of Korean Art and are dated from decently recent publications. What I would advise to do is also add a link to the PDF of the scholarly articles sourced, so that others can check the validity of the citation materials itself.

Organization

• As for organization, even though she has little added to her article, she has organized and kept track of the work and edits she did. I feel that to make the edits themselves more clear she should also state the exact location of the citations she adds to her article, that way if someone is reviewing her edits and work they can quickly and easily find what was done.

Overall impressions

• My overall takeaway from BeeRosie's sandbox and her article edits are that there has been very little done when it comes to editing the article itself, but she has found good sources to add to the article's supporting content. She has also edited citations that were done incorrectly, which is a difficult process in and of itself. I think that she should go through and try to edit areas in which little to no citation is and also edit the structure/wording of the sentences in sections where citation is needed. By doing this I feel that she can bolster her article with more supporting evidence and create a better sounding (and more accurately fact based) article. Also, the citations should have links attached to them so that others can fact check what you add to the content of the article itself.
