General
[edit]BirthdayBot is a Wikipedia bot run by Extranet that primarily uses perl to do a number of tedious tasks at a faster rate than a human editor. The bot checks the calendar of birthdays for the current day, and sends either a birthday template, a first edit day template, or adminship anniversary template to that user's userpage. It will most likely be run on the m:Toolserver.
Running
[edit]The bot will be run temporarily by ST47 until Extranet gets a permanent toolserver account to run it.
