Why I Contribute

I love the Wiki concept and I use wikis in various different functions. For instance, I use my own private wiki on a public server to write down knowledge needed for my own personal uses and then access that knowledge from anywhere with an Internet connection. I also use Tiddlywiki as a work journal, with the addition of the ForEachTiddler Plug-in and the Checkbox Plug-in according to these instructions.

What I Contribute

Since I use wikis every day and extensively, making edits for me is trivially easy and comfortable. Rather than contributing expert-level knowledge on any particular subject, I plan to edit articles from my favorite topics for spelling, grammar, readability and links.

  • I also contribute to the Memory Alpha Star Trek wiki.
