[edit]I am Bradley M. Kuhn. Yes, I have edited my own Wikipedia entry. I talk about the reasons for that on the talk page of that entry.
My general interest in Wikipedia comes from, as Jimmy Wales once put it, inspiration from the free software movement. I'm a Free Software movement guy, and I just love the idea of being able to contribute collaboratively to help make the world a better place by using technology. So, every time I google for something and hit Wikipedia, I can't resist trying my best to make an entry a little bit better. It's the Free Software hacker in me.
I kind of like that I came to Wikipedia way late; I only started ever editing pages in the early 2000s. It's just beautiful to see such a wonderful community dedicated to helping people learn flourish in this way. It makes me all the more proud to be a free software guy to see that community inspiring others to do amazing work of their own.
My Contributions
[edit]I have basically two passions in life, free software and poker. I try to contribute to articles related to those things. I play a lot less poker these days so I haven't been editing those pages so much lately. I occasionally edit when I'm reading something and I notice mistake. I guess I'm a somewhat average Wikipedia user in that regard.
People of Praise
[edit]- Hi there. The discussion/RFC on Talk:People of Praise#Coral Thiell seems to be very close to a consensus at this point (with at least some of the people who previously disagreed finding a place of agreement -- it's one I agree with FWIW). I am leaving a note on the talk pages of users like you who ever participated in that conversation to give you a head's up that the WP editors who have stayed actively involved in that conversation are (or at least so it appears to me) very close to an agreement, in case you have something further to say. Happy editing! Novellasyes (talk) 19:09, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
