I am a Canadian classicist, philologist and historian of the ancient world of Southern Europe and the Mediterranean. My focus is the ancient Phoenicians and their colonies, as well as the Abrahamic religions and their Kanan origins, and how human non-objective realities intersect with material reality, most importantly in the law, and so-called magical elements that generate hypnosis.

I am most fascinated by the ability of human minds to solve problems or generate ideas about objective reality that do not yet exist in material form outside of the world of ideas.

Nikola Tesla created the alternating current electric motor in his mind in finite detail before ever sketching it and manufacturing it.
