Oh, I'm just a girl—no. Eh. I don't know how to describe myself, really. So, I just thought I'd let the userboxes↓ speak for themselves./introvert

Let me explain 🖊️
[edit]E d i t i n gㅤ📐ㅤP h i l o s o p h yㅤ⚖️
· Reverting swathes of changes, which have nothing inherently wrong with them, either because you preferred the article's previous state or your personal edits (claiming in the ES, something along the lines of: “previous edit was unnecessary”), is not helpful. Either actually improve upon said changes or let it go. If you can't improve upon the changes, maybe reflect upon why that is. Remember: Editing Wikipedia is not for posterity nor personal glory.
· Don't infer to others—nor heed the word of others—that WP guidelines are requirements to editing or, otherwise, “law”; nor that a specific article has “special editing rules,” which don't pertain to policies surrounding biographies of living people or the Protection Policy.
· "Clarity" can be subjective. If I read something and am confused by the wording, have to read it over multiple times, and it's not because I missed a word or similar—it's a good idea to merely edit that sentence for clarity. Just because you understood the previous edit doesn't mean everyone does. If people find something difficult to understand, they do. The reader comes first on WP and readability is my biggest concern after factuality and relevance.

Just to thank you for your edits to the Sylvia Likens article. Much appreciated. As I said last year, it is the most painful case I have heard about, but we get the collective goal. All the best. Kieronoldham (talk) 22:46, 3 August 2021 (UTC) |
Thanks, Kieronoldham!
Usernames 📇
[edit]P r e v i o u sㅤ🗂️ㅤU s e r n a m e s
In the interest of transparency, I'm listing here any previous usernames I might have had on Wikipedia.
I would have only, and have only, requested a username change to reflect a change in personal taste or for online safety reasons (which, obviously, I wouldn't be able to be as open about, but would still try to explain to some degree).

2013–2020 | This was a really old username of mine from back in the day. Just no longer felt connected with it anymore; no controversy involved. |
