I have actually been around for quite some while, but my original account got "lost" when it turned out that Wikipedia password recovery is woefully inadequate. (Yes, I'm somewhat miffed at losing my "identity". What kind of public website does allow something like "I've forgotten my password" to result in loss of one's account?)
I see my strengths foremost in good language skills both in my native German language and in English, plus the apparently all-too-rare combination of background knowledge and WP:NPOV in the area of military technology and -history, with a focus on World War II.
