--a professionally-trained and formally qualified musician (piano as home instrument) who is again rebuilding a music alternative career and is now recognised as a (minor) composer of neoclassical and operatic music, and a web-based satirical songwriter and performer.

--a builder and sailer of outre wooden boats, mainly Phil Bolger designs, with a pervasive web presence in the near-cult of wooden boats

--a limited source of arcane local history threads in South Australia, mainly boat- and flour-milling oriented. Oh, and a lot of arcane ecological history on the eco-disaster of the 19thC wheat expansion in South Australia.
