Hello. I'm flattered and astonished that you should choose to read this, but seeing as you have, I'll reward you with a ramble.

I'm going to be massively downscaling my time and involvement at Wikipedia. And, in the true tradition of WP:NOT, here's some points I'd like to make:

This is not a retirement. You don't get rid of me that easy.
This is not a dramahzz strop. I'm very unwikistressed. (If you're not, you can always read this essay).
I'm not resigning. Actually, I am. But I'm also not.

My views on life have changed somewhat recently, as a result of a bout of abysmal health and the financial uncertainty. I'm downscaling my time to allow me to put more time into other areas of my life; (astonishingly, I still have one).

Meanwhile, I hope you can continue to enjoy contributions from me - just fewer of them. I do plan to continue to produce both quality and quirky material.
