Hello, I'm a long-term user, fan and very casual editor of Wikipedia from the outside. I'm looking forward to learning how to do it properly and developing some wiki-skills.

Basics

I am from Edinburgh, Scotland but ran away from the wind to Spain. I am into all sorts of nonsense, as you can see below. I always like to communicate with people from across the world.

Topics I am interested in editing

• Music - songs, albums, bands, DJs, producers, clubs, instruments, technology... "There are simply two kinds of music, good music and the other kind..." I like the good kind
• History - any period really, ancient and 17th - 21st centuries are generally most interesting to me
• Geography - Countries, Cities and anything related to them; where I'm from, lived and visited.
• Current affairs and politics - From a nonpartisan perspective, of course
• Language - English use and literature, English as a foreign language, maybe some Spanish
• Education - international, languages, higher, and related technology and businesses
• Biographies - in any field, but related to my other interests probably
• Star Wars - probably should have been top of the list; I genuinely care deeply about the fact it's correctly labelled as a space opera and not science fiction, it's probably one of the reasons I decided to start editing!
