One-Eleven, Ltd., was a record label based in Kowloon, Hong Kong, that produced and re-issued recordings of virtuoso soloists, mostly violin performed by Ruggiero Ricci (pronounced roo–JEHR-o REE–chee), but other string instruments as well. The label served to raise awareness of the lifetime achievements of Ruggiero Ricci and other violinists with respect to violin virtuosity and repertoire – traditional and new. One-Eleven maintained a website, Violinists (dot) com, currently registered by Terence Yuhong Chiu (born 1882), son of Henry Chiu, of Austin, Texas. Ricci had already amassed many recordings on several labels, from an early age. The One-Eleven label, essentially was a project to curate and produce unreleased and privately recorded works by Ricci and others. The label was founded by Hank Chiu (né Sinhang Henry Chiu; 1947–2011), originally from Hong Kong, an alumnus of Amherst College and long-time resident of Woodbridge, Connecticut.[1] Chiu, who had studied violin at Amherst, also studied violin at Smith College with Philipp Naegele. The CDs were manufactured in Japan.

Albany Music Distributors, Inc., of Albany, New York, was the exclusive distributor in North America. Albany Music was established November 6, 1990, by Peter Rustam Kermani (born 1940), who served as its President and CEO. Distribution of One-Eleven CDs by Albany Music ended around 2003.
Possible connections
[edit]Albany Records - Albany Records (UK) - I think there is a connection between Albany and Camarata in Japan. The Eichhorn-Linz recording of the Bruckner 9th (with Samale-Phillips-Mazzuca-Cohrs completion of finale) first appeared on Albany. Camarata is hard to find – and expensive.
- PROMPT = Australian Performing Arts Collection (Performing Arts Collection??)
- VoxBox, in 2003, seems to be be re-distributing Ricci's One-Eleven records.
- Naxos Digital Services, Ldt, seems to be related to VoxBox
--- Note: VoxBox is a lable of Vox Records, which, recently, around 2017, was acquired by Naxos Records. Vox Records has built up a substantial catalogue and has continued to provide high quality budget releases ever since its launch in 1945 when it pioneered this concept.
Re-issues
