Presentation

[edit]

I'm J. N. Squire. I have various interests ranging from hard sciences to popular culture (a little lacking in advanced maths and sport, though). I am a Bachelor graduate and student of Geography, have a religion and like Scientific method. I've already studied abroad.

I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrom (no, I don't know the decimals of Pi above 3.14 and don't run across the USA), which doesn't prevent me from having very different interests. My native language is French and I support Wikilove, so sorry if anything I've written came off as rude.

I am also particularly interested into the spirit of collaboration between Wikipedians. I am extremely allergic to any contempt posted on the talk pages/edit comments and I have trouble understanding figure of speech in writen form. Especially in case of conflicts and/or sensitive articles. Also, don't be surprised to see me remind editors some of the basics of the encyclopedia, whether they are simple contributors or administrators, regardless of the status or seniority.

Activities

[edit]

This account was originally mainly used to make some translations for the Wikipedia in French and create or improve disambiguation pages. I used it to add interwiki links until Wikidata took care of it. Since then, I'm mostly contributing by reporting lack of inline citations and expanding articles with sourced content from the Wikipedia in French due to the additional scrutiny brought by the local collaborations needed there when translations happen.

You can see fr:Utilisateur:J. N. Squire for more information about me (in French). My former username before the account merging is User:Foldo, and the next one before current is User:Feldo.
