Billjay Vaitoelau (born 13 April 2002) is an American Samoan association footballer who plays for FFAS Senior League club Royal Puma and the American Samoa national team.
Club career
[edit]Vaitoelau has played for Vaivase-Tai FC of the Samoa National League. During the 2020 season, he scored one goal for the club.[1] He remained with the club until at least September 2022 when he was part of its roster for a match against Goldstar Sogi FC.[2] For the 2023 season, he moved to Royal Puma of the FFAS Senior League. That season, the club won its first league title.[3]
International career
[edit]Vaitoelau was called up to the American Samoa national team for the 2023 Pacific Games. He made his senior international debut on 20 November 2023 in the team's opening match against Samoa.[4] In the team's 11th-place playoff match against Tonga, Vaitoelau opened the scoring but American Samoa ultimately fell 2–6.[5]
