User:Jeff G./Coaching
Hi. I became a Wikipedia Editor on 21 December 2006 and edited as JeffGent until 31 May 2007. I was granted rollbacker rights on 10 January 2008.[1][2][3] I was the subject of a Wikipedia article (sadly, an attack page) for about two minutes.[4] Much of my recent activity has been anti-vandalism related, mostly with huggle. — Jeff G. - Heh, alright!

[edit]Getting to know you
[edit]Getting to know you
- So, why do you want to be an admin?
- There are multiple areas in which I feel I could be helpful, including backlogs at AIV and CSD, sometimes there are not enough admins online, and Jimbo himself wrote that adminship was not a big deal. I have past experience as being one of the admins of a network of 300+ servers that served 10,000+ users, but my first attempt at being a Commons admin failed. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 16:50, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- Why did you choose admin coaching? What do you expect from this process?
- I want to make sure that I am grounded enough in policies and procedures to be an admin here, have learned sufficiently from my mistakes, and would be well received at RfA. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 16:50, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- If, hypothetically, you ran for adminship now, what do you think would be the end result?
- I think I can be trusted to do the right thing for the good of the project, but I may need some work on some of the policies and procedures. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 16:50, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- When, if ever, do you plan on running for adminship?
