Paul Kakumba (born 22 September 1998) is a Rwandan businessman, media proprietor and philanthropist. He is the CEO of Malticom Group of Companies . its Media Services a home of 15 brands, a multimedia company in Uganda and Rwanda mostly known for its flagship television network Avith Tv Network.
Career
[edit]Kakumba started out as an Online Marketer before joining University of Kigali, where he would later start developing web applications for a his own company Malticom Group of companies Ltd. he started in 2015. He later started his own media companies under Malticom Group Companies Ltd.
Kakumba took over Avith Television Network in 2017 as CEO and grew it into Malticom Group of Companies , a multimedia company that runs three television stations (ATN Television, Eco TV & Victoria Tv), a radio station (Wish FM Radio) in 2019, online news under portal (Avith Tv), His radio station, Wish FM Radio, is Uganda's pioneer audiovisual radio station.
Currently, Kakumba serves as Chairman of Malticom Group (MG), an sunset studio industry association for all Television, Radio and Online broadcasters in his company.
He is also the sales chairman for lartistical International Ltd., the enterprise that he owns now .
Personal life
[edit]Paul Kakumba got married in 2024 to Scovia Kakumba Kayitare ( Scovia Achola ) and together, the couple has one children. Nana Azena.
Recognition
[edit]He was named among the most influential Ugandans in 2018 in a survey conducted by Public Opinions International Sunset studio Organization.
