Hardeep Grewal (born 21 September 1988) is a Punjabi singer, lyricist and Music Composer associated with Punjabi music. His songs include Thokar (2015), Bulandiyan (2018) and Unstoppable 2019.
Early life
[edit]Hardeep Grewal have done schooling from SACRED HEART CONVENT SCHOOL (ICSE board), Ludhiana, Punjab. He first performed bhangra(traditional dance of Punjab) on stage when he was in 3rd standard. He never had stage fear, so when asked to him sing a song in 6th standard, he didn’t hesitate and gave best performance.
After completing school he got admission in RIMT – Maharaja Aggrasen Engineering College, MANDI GOBINDGARH, PUNJAB in year 2007. He chose MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. He started performing on college stages on every annual function and he represented his college in inter college competitions and won awards for his college.
After he got admission in RAMGARHIA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT and TECHNOLOGY, PHAGWARA, PUNJAB in year 2011 and competed post graduation was PRODUCTION ENGINEERING which was one of the option in the course of MASTER OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION.
Career
[edit]Hardeep Grewal got first job as a lecturer in march 2014 in LUDHIANA POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE, PUNJAB. As decided he tried singing beside doing job, but as he had to give almost entire day to his job he was not able to spare time for singing passion. As he never had interest in doing a job it was becoming difficult for him to continue with job.
He decided to quit his job and start career as a professional singer. So after just 3 months of his job resigned and started exploring career in singing.
He did debut on 3rd July,2015 with a full album titled “THOKAR”. It was a 10 song album with THOKAR as its first video song. THOKAR was written by DEEPU KAKOWALIA, its music was given by R GURU and video was directed by HARRY BHATTI. He recently sang a song titled "Aaja Zindagi" released under Believe Music (on behalf of Hardeep Grewal Music).
