Our state-of-the-art cultivation facilities in Sacramento, California total over 115,000 square feet of commercial indoor operations, operated using 100% renewable energy.[1] Each member of the Seven Leaves team has dedicated their career to yielding consistent harvests, while maximizing quality control and applying responsible cultivation practices.[2] The team at Seven Leaves has been in the California Cannabis Industry since 2008. Over the last decade, through non-stop education, the team has been perfecting cultivation methods and techniques to develop premium grade, pesticide-free and herbicide-free cannabis and cannabis products.

History

[edit]

Following the economic challenges of the Great Recession, Kearns transitioned to the cannabis industry in 2008, starting from humble beginnings by planting his first crop in the mountains of Humboldt County. He eventually founded the Humboldt Cannabis Center, which operated in compliance with proposition laws. In 2016, anticipating industry changes, Kearns made the decision to relocate to Sacramento and co-founded Seven Leaves.

As CEO of Seven Leaves, Kearns[3] has been actively involved in all aspects of the company since its inception. He has played a key role in funding, securing funding, obtaining licensing, and overseeing operations. Under his leadership, Seven Leaves has become a prominent company in the cannabis market, focusing on quality and growth.

Seven Leaves stands out not just for its cannabis quality but also for its unique packaging strategy.[4] They use a "soda machine" concept for their packaging, similar to old soda dispensers. This approach catches people's attention and offers a different experience. The packaging looks like soda machines, which is different and interesting. People have started collecting these packages. This packaging tactic, along with their good cannabis, makes Seven Leaves a top brand in California's cannabis industry.

Industry Challenges

[edit]

Tyler Kearns, the founder and CEO of Seven Leaves, a Sacramento-based cannabis company, experienced a significant financial loss when HERBL, a fellow cannabis company, filed for bankruptcy. Seven Leaves was owed a substantial sum of $880,000 by HERBL. Kearns, who had been closely monitoring HERBL's financial situation, realized that the company's impending bankruptcy would likely result in the loss of his company's funds. The situation was particularly disheartening for Kearns as he had previously hoped to recover the owed amount. However, HERBL's financial instability and subsequent bankruptcy made it highly unlikely that Seven Leaves would receive any compensation. The loss of $880,000 would undoubtedly have a significant impact on Seven Leaves' operations and future plans.[5]
