The virus D-278 is a rapidly spreading virus, presumably originating from Moldova. The origins of such are unknown. However, NAUA (National Aeronautics and Universe Administration) have determined D-278 is native to Earth. The image below was found when researchers explored the ruins of an atomic ~~gardening~~ facility that shut down on June 26th, 1949.

Due to the dangerous nature of those affected by D-278, victims are to be avoided and kept separate from society, leading to places such as St. James' hospital for the sickened opening.

A quote from said magazine, dated to 1952, follows as such, "Hello dear readers. Today, we are covering a newly sensitive topic. Recently, a virus known as D-278 or more popularly known as Daemonuim has been haunting our quiet streets. Scientists have specified many ways to avoid contracting such disease as passed around by the information pamphlet, included in the back of the issue."

Only one known copy still remains of the mentioned pamphlet which is currently being withheld at a unknown ~~laboratory~~ located at the heart of ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛.

After studying the unknown specimens, it has been discovered that they seem to consist of a flesh-like material which seems stronger than human's. Radiation has also been discovered between the mismatched DNA of the victims of D-278.
