About me
My name is Petra Sieber and I am a Doctoral Student at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, where I conduct my research at the Department of Energy and Technology.
My main research interests are land use and climate modelling, specifically in the context of increasing bioenergy production. To find out more about my current work and project, visit my personal page.
Research area
My doctoral project is at the nexus of bioenergy, land use and climate science. To better understand how bioenergy impacts the climate via changes in land use and vegetation cover, I study biogeophysical mechanisms (e.g., albedo, sensible and latent heat fluxes, momentum) besides greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration.
