Google's Street View program in Uruguay began with the filming of streets and roads on 26 June 2015.[1] On 2 December 2015, many of the country's cities were made available online, including Montevideo, Salto, and Ciudad de la Costa.[2] On 3 February 2016 coverage was expanded significantly. As of February 2016, coverage is high, with over four-fifths of all cities (representing over three-quarters of the country's population) having most of its streets photographed.
