Politics
[edit]- My hopes of getting onto the ballot in the November 7, 2006, general election for PA Senate, 42nd district, as an Independent, were terminated in August, 2006. I pulled out of the race while before a PA Judge in Harrisburg after making a case there for 30-minutes. This was just another story in how the power keeps the power and hires lawyers to harrass citizen candidates.
- In 2005 I ran for the same seat and got 2,542 votes in a three way race. I've run for public office in other instances in the past decade as well.
Traveler of the World
[edit]- As a family, we traveled four times to China, staying in Chengdu, Discovery Bay, Beijing and visits to other cities. Hundreds of photos from these trips are in the public domain.
- We spent two weeks in Canada in August 2006 at a swim and sports camp called Camp Chikopi, [1].
- Our travels took us to Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2007 for nearly a semester, six-plus weeks.
- In 2008, we attended the Beijing Olympics as spectators.
- We went to South Africa as a family too.
